Beginning Playwriting

Service Description

We begin with story structure, character creation, and dialogue, and build a 10-minute play out of an initial scene. Through an exploration of Freytag, the Hero's Journey and mythology, a simple plot line will take shape. Careful observation of humans in all their perfections and flaws will people that plot line and, finally, our words and actions will round out our first step into the world of play writing. With in-depth discussions and opportunities for one-on-one mentoring, the process will be fun and easy. 10 Weeks Zoom 2hr/session $400 16 and up
